Description
The former Stephenson's Old Apple Farm restaurant on 40 Highway in Independence, was closed on Valentine's Day 2007. "Heir apparent Steve Stephenson has re-launched--for the most part--his family's comfort food tradition at 6600 Blue Ridge Blvd. in the wilds of Raytown." The new restaurant will be in the former space of the Santa Fe Inn and will be called J. L. Stephenson's Santa Fe Inn. Stephenson's famous apple fritters will be on the menu as will other items. Charlie Meyers, the chef at Stephenson's, will make the move to the kitchen of the new restaurant.
