Description of his career as political boss in Kansas City (involved in election frauds and organized crime, etc.) receiving a "lenient" sentence from Judge Merrill Otis, and retiring to his Country Club District home at 5650 Ward Parkway (pictured along with his "business" office at 1908 Main Street) until his death.
