Biography of Lewis Lindsay Dyche, a professor and early settler of Kansas. The author states that Dyche graduated from the University of Kansas in 1877 and became a professor of zoology. His explorations throughout the American West and Arctic regions are described. The author states that he was appointed as head of the Kansas Department of Fish and Game in 1908 and passed away in 1915.
