Pioneer granite monument on Broadway Boulevard between 40th and Westport Road. Dedicated to the women of old Westport by the Daughters of Westport. Dedicated and presented to the city in 1925. Cost to the organization $1,000. On the side of the huge boulder is a copper plate bearing the sculptured picture of a pioneer mother and her children.
