Guadalupe Centers, Inc., is celebrating 90 years of service to the Latino community and the 30th anniversary of its executive director, Cristobal Medina. Reported to be the oldest Latino organization in the country, Guadalupe was founded in 1919 by a Catholic women's club to assist Mexican immigrants who settled in Kansas City's West Side. The article provides an overview of the Center's history and acomplishments over the last 90 years.
