Brief article regarding the launch of the Starr Women's Hall of Fame at UMKC. Twenty-four women's organizations helped create the hall in an effort to "recognize women from the Kansas City area and preserve the legacy of their accomplishments." The hall is named for Martha Jane Phillips Starr, member of the UMKC Board of Trustees and a founder of the University's Women's Council. The event was headlined by former Kansas City Mayor Kay Barnes and Chelsea Clinton.
