Description
Nineteen new homes are being constructed on the site of the former Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged from 53rd to 54th streets and from Woodland to Highland avenues in the Blue Hills residential district. Key players in the urban renewal project are the Swope Community Builders, Applied Urban Research Institute, Rosemann and Associates architects, DuBois Consultants Inc. for engineering services, and Myers and Associates. Plans include an outdoor exhibit honoring the historic work of the nuns.
