Properties that become run down due to owner negligence are a problem in some areas. It is possible for neighborhoods to take advantage of state common law by bringing suit against property owners who ignore other methods. Legal Aid of Western Missouri can be requested to help. Indian Mounds Neighborhood Association voted to take legal action against an owner in the neighborhood.
