Biographical sketch of Dr. J. H. Mooney, a gynecological physician "born in Wheeling, West Virginia, August 9, 1851," raised in Liberty, Missouri, and coming to Kansas City in the 1880s. Description also of his father Joseph Mooney (and mother Elizabeth Farnsworth Mooney), a native of New York and "millwright" moving to Liberty in 1854 and then to Kansas City in 1885 before dying in 1893.
