Time selected the American soldier for the magazine's Person of the Year. The cover shows three soldiers. One of these, Sgt. Ronald Buxton, is from Lake Ozark, Missouri. Although based in Giessen, Germany, Sgt. Buxton, a member of Survey Platoon, Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion in the 1st Armored's 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, has been serving in Iraq.
