The 2006 Avenue of the Arts is the seventh time for the annual display. For this year six pieces are on display along Central Avenue between Ninth and 14th Streets. Milton Stevenson's artwork which is brightly colored plastic balls stuck in Bartle Hall's concrete facade is unusual and the plastic balls are turning up missing. Other artwork featured includes Miki Baird's "Sidewalk Confetti" with 15,000 tiny photographs; Susan White's "Lyric Lascaux" on the west wall of the Lyric Theater; Jorge Garcia's "A Minor Chord" a plastic and aluminum sculpture at 10th and Central; Rolf and Margaret Brommelsiek's "Rabone 9" a sculpture in the southwest corner of the Lyric's front yard; and Julia Cole and Leigh Rosser's "Sky Funnel" at the corner of 13th and Central.
