Description
Three years ago "KC Magazine" initiated its Design Excellence Awards program. Since its inception, they "have honored El Dorado Inc., Helix Architecture + Design, and Wendlandt & Stallbaumer with this distinction in the architecture category." The article shows parallels of design work by these three with architect Louis Curtiss. Includes photographs of the Boley building designed by Curtiss, "Curtiss' downtown bachelor pad, located at 1118-1120 McGee St.," as well as the interior and exterior of The Folly Theatre built in 1900.
