Talbott, former mayor [of Kansas City], and a grandson of a noted early day clergyman here, the Rev. Addison D. Madeira," Sr., or Addison Madeira, Sr. Lee also a member of the 1906 United States Olympics team, competing "in the shot-put, hammer throw and discus."
