Photo and bio of Albert Jones, president of the A. R. Jones Oil & Operating Company, raised in Illinois in the 1880s and moving to Independence, Kansas, in 1902 as an oil prospector before coming to Kansas City around the 1910s, keeping his office in the Land Bank building on West 10th Street and residing at 5701 Mission Road. Also a collector of American paintings and a real estate investor.
