Vertical file containing a photo and obituary for Dr. Thomas Jones, or T.A. Jones, "physician here for 44 years." He was a native of South Carolina becoming a physician in Washington, D.C. before coming to Kansas City in 1910 as a physician at Wheatley-Provident Hospital and General Hospital Number 2. He served as city physician and later "deputy coroner for Jackson county from 1950 until the summer of 1953." His residence was at 1700 East 28th Street.
