The Last (Dirty) Picture Show

Article describes the history of and current state of the historic Strand theatre, located near 35th Street and Troost. The Strand's current owner, Dick Snow, is interviewed and describes the the theater's current state as well as his concern for the future of the business. Jori Sackin, a local artist, is interviewed and describes his vision of the Strand being developed into an urban arts center. References to several Kansas City adult cinemas are made.
