Description
The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art will be opening a downtown venue at 1901 Baltimore Avenue on November 7, 2008. The space will be used for exhibitions and administrative functions. It positions them "in the thick of First Fridays gallery-opening crowds." Museum officials hope the new space will attract the Crossroads audience to the main museum at 4420 Warwick Blvd. "The first exhibit, a sculptural video installation by Texas-based artists Jeff Shore and Jon Fisher, will open Nov. 7."
