Kansas City lawyer Gerald Reynolds has been selected by President George Bush to chair the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Reynolds is currently assistant general counsel at Great Plains Energy Services Inc., a Kansas City utility holding company. He will be replacing Mary Frances Berry as head of the bipartisan, independent commission. Article includes his photograph.
