Description of Father Joseph Anthony Lutz, or Joseph Lutz, and Dunning McNair, Catholic Indian agents sent to Kansas City in 1828 from Saint Louis by Bishop Rosati, along with "Baronet Vasquez, the first Agent to the Kaws" (dying en route in 1828). Description of their place of arrival "on the river front at the foot of the present Gillis street," conducting Vasquez's funeral there.
