Photo and bio of Elizabeth Bruce Crogman, or Elizabeth Crogman (1894-1992), director and co-founder of "the Florence Home at 2446 Michigan Avenue" and later at 24th and Campbell Streets from about 1925 to 1945. Born in Pennsylvania and coming to Kansas City in the early 1920s as a civil activist "dedicat[ed] to pregnant girls and unwed mothers in the black community." Sister-in-law of Ada Crogman Franklin, "the wife of the founder of 'The Call'".
