Description
The Kansas City Monarchs sent more players to the Major Leagues--20--than any other Negro Leagues team. In addition, 11 of the 30 inductees to the Negro Leagues wing of the Baseball Hall of Fame played for the Monarchs. Two former players, Jackie Robinson and Ernie Banks, were voted in to the Hall of Fame as major leaguers.
