Photo and bio of Dr. John Punton, "a distinguished neurologist of Kansas City." Born in England in 1855 and emigrating here about 1888 as a physician, co-founding and serving as "president of the Kansas City Academy of Medicine" before establishing "a private sanitarium for the treatment of nervous and mental diseases" at 30th and Lydia Avenues in 1890.
