Biographical sketch of Reverend William Dalton, "rector of the Church of the Annunciation in Kansas City." He was born in Saint Louis in 1848 and came to Kansas City in 1872, also becoming a co-founder of the Kansas City Manual Training School and author, editing the "Western Banner" from 1879 to 1884, working on a book called "History of Missouri," and writing other pamphlets and articles "for leading journals and magazines of the country."
