Biographical sketch of James Hardacre, "engaged in the drug business in Kansas City." He was born in Massachusetts in 1869 and came to Kansas City with his parents in the 1880s, opening his own drugstore "on Southwest boulevard" in 1893 with a branch store at 33rd and Troost Avenues, residing with his wife at 3300 Charlotte Street.
