Biographical sketch of Robert Green, a railroad worker born in England in 1833 and "numbered among the heroes of the English wars in India". He emigrated to Kansas City about 1881, "establishing his home on Flora street, near the old fair grounds," then "buil[ding] a frame dwelling at No. 2122 Penn avenue" and later still moving to 120 East 34th Street, retiring as a farmer.
