Photo and bio of George Zentner, Jr. (1841-1903), a marble and stone dealer of Kansas City. Native of Germany emigrating to Kansas City in 1857 with his father George Zentner, Sr. (a soda water manufacturer and tailor dying in 1888) as a stone cutter and marble merchant at 10th and Grand Avenues, moving it later to 1305 Grand Avenue and then 22 Southwest Boulevard before serving the Union in the Civil War.
