Photo and bio of Dr. Charles Coe, "one of the best known representatives of the medical fraternity in Kansas City." He was born in Iowa in 1858 and became "house surgeon in the Cook County Hospital at Chicago" before arriving in Kansas City in 1888 and "establish[ing] Dr. Coe's Sanitarium, now located at Twenty-sixth and Wyandotte streets."
