Biographical sketch of Dr. Joseph Horigan, a physician "born in Georgetown, District of Columbia, [or Washington, D. C.], January 16, 1864," and coming to Kansas City in 1888, opening an office that year at 1120 Main Street. Description of his later career, moving his office to "the New Ridge building" until moving in 1901 at his residence at 3100 Main Street, serving as "president of the German Hospital staff," and co-organizing the hospital at 28th and Main Streets with the Sisters of Saint Mary.
