Photo and bio of Henry Guettel (1866-1921), co-founder of the Palace Clothing store in 1888, a native of Iowa opening his store in Topeka, Kansas, and moving it in 1893 to 909 Main Street in the Ridge Builidng, with his son Arthur Guettel erecting a new "seven-story building on the northwest corner of Twelfth Street and Grand Avenue, which is to be occupied exclusively as the new home of the Palace Clothing Company."
