A look at Straub Construction and Ernest J. Straub III (Ernie). In 1920 Ernest J. Straub Sr. began "developing homes, churches and schools in the Mission Hills and Greater Kansas City areas." The company tackles many different types of projects including multi-family, commercial, institutional, religious and historic renovation construction. Some of their recent work includes the renovation of the Theodore Naish Scout Camp in Bonner Springs, Kansas, the Sacred Heart Church in Shawnee, and the renovation of eight historic Armour Boulevard apartment buildings.
