Photo and bio of Robert Snyder, a banker and utilities executive of Kansas City. Born in Indiana in 1852 and coming to Kansas City about 1880 as a grocer before becoming president of "Mechanics' Savings Bank" in 1890 and then president of the City National Bank in 1900, as well as organizing the Missouri Gas Company (later changed to the Kansas City, Missouri Gas Company), with residence on Independence Boulevard.
