File containing photos and information on Dr. Samuel Rodgers (1917-1999), an African American "Kansas City doctor and community health leader." Native of Alabama coming here about 1946 as a physician and World War II veteran helping to "bring an end to racially segregated health care in Kansas City." Later executive director of the Wayne Miner Health Center at 825 Euclid Avenue in 1967, "renamed in his honor in 1988."
