The Jewish Community Archives of Kansas City recently held an event to remove the cornerstone from the old Jewish Community Center (JCC) building at 8201 Holmes Street. JCC occupied the building from 1961-1986. It housed Paul Robeson Academy before the school was closed in 2004. The cornerstone piece will likely be placed in the Jewish Community Archives.
