Story of the Lady of Freedom statue designed by Eddie Dixon and soon to stand on the James Street property of the United Parcel Service in Kansas City, Kansas. Anita Dixon had the vision for The Lady of Freedom Monument Project which is to commemorate the contributions of women in relation to freedom for the formerly enslaved. UPS CEO Glenn Rice helped with the project.
