Biographical sketch of Frank Faxon, a co-founder of the Kansas City Commercial Club, born in Massachusetts in 1848 and moving to Lawrence, Kansas, in 1857 and then to Kansas City in 1878, also serving as "the senior member of the well known wholesale drug house of Faxon, Horton & Gallagher, which has been in existence for many years and has an immense trade all over the western states."
