Biographical sketch of William Kendall, "consulting electrical and mechanical engineer," born in Kansas City in 1870 and graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before returning here in 1892 "with the Franklin Electric Company of Kansas City." Description of his career, becoming vice-president of the William W. Kendall Boot & Shoe Company, president of the William W. Kendall Securities Company, and "member of the firm of Weeks, Kendall & Newkirk, consulting electrical and mechanical engineers, 604-607 New Nelson building," with residence at 1910 Independence Avenue.
