Photo and bio of Barney Goodman (~1891~1951), owner of Barney Goodman Investments real estate company, a Jewish native of Russia emigrating to Kansas City, Kansas, about 1905 and becoming a magician and salesman and then realtor in 1911 with office in the Commerce Building, becoming "the owner and operator of hotels, theater buildings, office buildings and apartments from Kansas City through the Southwest to California," including the local "Bellerive hotel and the Locarno, Carlisle, Lowell, Newbern, Sophian Plaza and Belleclaire apartment hotels."
