Photo and book about Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, or Andrew Still (1828-1917), a pioneer homeopathic physician ("discovering" the practice of osteopathy in 1874) and founder of the American School of Osteopathy in Kirksville, Missouri (later called the Kirksville School of Osteopathy). Native of Virginia raised in northern Missouri and moving to eastern Kansas in the 1850s, serving as a Kansas state representative before becoming a doctor in Kansas City and then Kirksville.
