Photo and biographical article about Reverend Henry Hopkins (ca. 1837-1908), former "chaplain of the Sons of the Revolution in Missouri" and founder of "Kawsmouth Chapel in the West Bottoms" in the 1880s. Native of Massachusetts coming to Kansas City in 1880 as pastor of the First Congregational Church with a new building in 1884 at 11th and McGee Streets.
