Description
Deborah Dandridge, an archivist and expert in African American history for the University of Kansas, has received the 2007-2008 Budig Distinguished Librarian Award for her achievements in professional service and scholarship. Ms. Dandridge received a B.A. in History from Washburn University in 1986, and a M.A. in History from Atlanta University in 1970. She completed her doctoral work at the University of Kansas and has served as archivist of the University's African American Collections since 1986.
