Paul Mesner Puppets has received one of the nine 2007 grants to Kansas City area arts organizations from the National Endowment for the Arts. The $18,000 NEA Access to Excellence grant is for the production of Engelbert Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel," for the spring of 2008. Article includes a photo of the three maids (puppets) for the Civic Opera of Kansas City's "The Mikado" performed in 2004.
